Bring a little woodland fun to early maths with our Squirrel Counting Tray and Numbered Acorns – a hands-on EYFS maths resource designed to help children explore numbers to 10 through play.

The squirrel-shaped tray features ten frames from 1–10, giving children a clear visual representation of each quantity. Children can count the dots, find the corresponding numbered acorn and place it onto the matching ten frame – supporting children as they begin to connect numerals with quantities.

The chunky 3D acorns are perfect for little hands and can also be used independently from the tray, making the set incredibly versatile. Hide them in sensory play, order the numbers 1–10, use them for number hunts, add them to an autumn tinker tray or pair them with loose parts for counting activities.
